Generations Scholars Tyrique Dailey, Kierra Tolbert and Mason Williams from the Augusta campus.

Congratulations to the inaugural class of Generations Scholars at Helms College in Augusta and Macon. It is an honor to recognize these outstanding scholars on their academic achievements and applaud them as they continue their academic and professional pursuits.

Augusta recipients are Tyrique Dailey, Kierra Tolbert, Mason Williams and Michael Good. In Macon, Arhonda Harris, Summer Martucci, Tavis Thomas, Darreyas Kinder, Savion Miller, Kai Aptidon, Brianna Roberts, and Dustin Ussery received the scholarship.

Thanks to the generosity of philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, we established the Generations Scholarship in early 2022 to assist our highest performing students with accessing our academic programs in culinary arts, medical services, and industrial trades. As part of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia, Helms College is the higher education arm that serves the mission to build lives, families and communities one career at a time. We believe that education and training can not only launch new careers, but also positively impact the lives of our students and their families for generations to come.
