Helms College’s Macon Campus is located at 5171 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon, GA 31206—an easy and reasonable drive from the Atlanta metro area. The campus is fully handicapped-accessible, with ample free parking available. Also, the campus is just steps away from the #7 Eisenhower/Walmart bus stop.

The campus is housed within the Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia facility and features classrooms, hands-on labs, teaching kitchens, and administrative offices all in one convenient location.

Students in the School of Hospitality benefit from five multimedia-equipped classrooms, a fully equipped professional kitchen, a computer lab, and a dedicated career services office.

On-campus learning extends into Edgar’s Bistro, which provides front-of-house training in a fine dining environment, and the Anderson Conference Center, where students gain experience in banquet and catering operations.

Culinary Arts Programs

  • Culinary Arts Degree, Diploma, and Certificate
    • What You'll Learn:
      Gain in-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen management, and hospitality industry trends. The program offers training in cooking, baking, presentation, kitchen management, and customer service, preparing students for a comprehensive culinary career.
    • Start Dates: April 15, July 14, October 6
    • Class Times: Monday-Friday
      Morning: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
      Evening: 5:30PM – 11:00PM

HVAC/R Program

  • Heating, Venting, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Training
    • What You'll Learn:
      Receive hands-on training in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, repair, and refrigeration. The program also covers administrative abilities like job costing, project management, and customer service.
    • Start Dates: April 15, July 14, October 6
    • Class Times: Monday-Friday
      Morning: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
      Evening: 5:30PM – 11:00PM

Saturday Chef – Community Cooking Classes
