Through our focus on combining strong experiential learning with classroom and laboratory instruction, Helms students acquire the knowledge, skills and experience to excel in the culinary and health services fields – right from the first day of class. We assist students in gaining employment while they are students through our Goodwill Staffing Services and then as graduates through our Job Connection. Our office of Career Services helps students develop the career tools they need to stand out in today’s competitive job market through a variety of workshops and career events throughout their studies.

Helms College will be holding an open house at our amazing Macon and Augusta, GA, campuses on Saturday, Aug 26 from 10 AM until 12 PM. During the open house you may tour our state-of-the-art campuses and learn about the wealth of opportunities in career education offered at Helms College. Staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions about school programs, scholarships and financial aid options to help you get started on the path to your new career. Light refreshments will be served and free health screenings will be offered at our Augusta campus during the event.
