Helms College—a private, independent postsecondary career school sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia Inc., and licensed by the Georgia Non-public Post-Secondary Education Commission—offers accredited programs through its two hospitality schools, as well as its new School of Health Services.
Helms College and Goodwill Industries International has a rich history dating back 114 years. Dr. Edgar James Helms (1863-1942), a man admired for his uncommon character and entrepreneurial vision, is credited as the founder of the movement that would grow into Goodwill Industries®.
