Educator Bootcamp

Helms College offers a unique, five-day summer boot camp opportunity for high school culinary educators to hone their skills alongside our extraordinary team of professional Chef Instructors. Each day’s lessons will include a lecture on the methodology followed by hands-on cooking. Lessons will cover the essentials of baking and pastry and culinary arts and culminate with a visit to our own Wrights Farm, where you will harvest and cook fresh produce from the fields.

Attire: Closed-toe non-slip shoes, long pants, chef jacket, and apron (to be provided)

  • Wrights Farm tour and Vegetable Harvest

  • Farm salad and Vegetable Preparation

    Baking and Pastry: Lecture/Lab
